The rain falls tear by tear
thunder fills her heart as
lightning crashes in her ear
she looked up towards
the heavenly sky
with such a questioning
look within her eye
the rain hurts her fragile
skin as it send a reply
again she lifts her head
and screams out to us all
as her tears sluggishly form
and begin to slowly fall
she never spoke with God in person
nor visited him in heaven
he never spoke a word to her
but she heard him call her name
he never gave a sign to her
and yet she knew and came
The soft white clouds helped her
sooth and quit her mind
it took her away from all the
noise in the busy world
and let her lie untroubled
at its side listening only to
the gentle lapping of the wind
she felt at peace “alone” unhindered
and free...free to do nothing but
watch, listen and dream
