Allthought from the 1st booking coming out i swore i would never read these books. they seemed pretty childish... what with lets by a want with a pheonix feather in it and cast spells..... I will say tho... I was VERY wrong! I started reading them not long back and yesterday i just finished the half blood prince (book 6) The writting in the books starts of pretty simplistic but gets more and more complex and its allready improved my reading and spelling by bounds! the plot gets you hooked to. People saying thats its directly linked with pagans in the real world need to learn that the book are fiction. Very well written fiction. and the person who believe its true might as well buy that wand and call them selfs gandalf! ;D ;D but to any one who doesn't minding 6 books straight and then waiting another few years for the final part coming out i suggest reading them. I will say one thing - The films do the books no justice! there is so much more in the books about what people go through. people at the age of the charectures in the books can even learn moral issues etc, responsability and so on Ok i'll stop rambling now I'm starting my next series of books now.. i started reading HP and the Philosiphers Stone inbetween a James Patterson books

I just finished reading the "Half Blood Prince" also. The books are very good just as long as you do know they are fantasy. In this last book it seemed to me that she spent a lilttle too long on certain things and not long enough on others. Like any good book in a series though we are left with many questions at the end of this book so we will have to buy the next one to see how the problems resolve themselves.

i know. i'm really eager to see how it is all tied of. a few people complained that nothing happened til the last few chapters - but i think most of that book was explaining bits which are going to come into the story in the next book... 3 years to wait.... lol oh yeah.. did you read the american edition or the proper english one? the american has more text in it that the english edition. to make one of the clues a lil more obvious and that is ment to be that dumbledoor is not really dead.... not sure how they are going to bring him back but... i can't wait

I didn't know that there were 2 versions out. I guess i read the American version. I have a feeling that Dumbeldore is not really dead. I am not sure how they will being him back but in fantasy you can do anything. I don't know if you watched the tv show Dallas but in one episode JR was killed. He was "dead" for the entire next season. The season following that you find out that the whole last season was a dream. This whole thing with dumbledore dying could be an illusion cast by dumbledore himself to aid Harry into doing what he has to do to rid the world of HWSNBN.

I was thinking, Dumbledore told Malfory that they could fake his death and protect his mother also. He said that it would not be possible for the fake to be known. If Dumbledore was correct then his death may have been a fake also. I am hoping so. I would really like to know how the other books put it.
