I have read the Screwtape Letters and Pilgrims Progress. I loved both of these books. Anything that I have read by C. S. Lewis is great though. I want to read Paradise Lost I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I will some day. What are the other 2 books about?

The Lee Strobel books are scientific, historic, and psycological evidences to prove the things said in the Bible as fact. Very good books which really hit good issues and have information from top researchers and knowledgable people.
Confessions of Augustine was a book written by the Catholic St. Augustine. Although his views are not entirely Catholic, it is a great read depicting one of the giants of the faiths struggles and turmoils and how he came to grips with it and his relationship with God. Since it was written somewhere in the 4th or 5th century its neat to see early church doctrines and ideas.
The Phillip Yancey book speaks on how to cope with seemingly unanswered prayer and doubts on whether God is even there. Good read for most Christians and explores questions and thoughts that most Christians have every once in a while.

i want to know if any of you has read Philip Pullmans northern lights trilogy, read carefully it is a great metaphor for the search for God, encompasing many different things, for example the only beings that can always see God(represented by a type of dust i think) are the only species with only one hand therefore have to cooperate
