Title: Who Is Jesus
Woman: I'd put him on the level of Gandhi or someone like that. Man 1: Isn't he the one some of those weird cults talk about just before they commit suicide? Man 2: If you ask me, he was just a myth created by someone's delusion. Woodrow Kroll: Everyone seems to have an opinion of who Jesus was. Even many so-called experts don't seem to agree. Interestingly, the same confusion that often clouds our thoughts today troubled many at the time of Jesus. People argued over whether or not His miracles were real and whether he was the Messiah or a lunatic. Jesus heard what the crowds were saying, and in Matthew 16:15 He asked his disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" Peter's response? "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Peter knew the right answer because he knew Jesus. There was no question in his mind--Jesus was the Christ. You may still have questions about who this Jesus was. To answer them, you need a reliable source. You need to study God's Word. Why not begin by looking at this portion in Matthew 16. Examine closely verses 13-20. As you do, you'll come face-to-face with who Jesus is. And when you meet Him, He'll change your life.
