Sunday morning, the son of one of our church's elders, Melvin, was in a car accident. His neck was broken and the prognosis Sunday morning as they rushed him in for surgery to relieve the pressure on his neck was that he was paralized completely with no hope of recovery... At church, after the singing, we entered corporate prayer for Melvin's son - and it was incredibly powerful! My husband recently became an deacon, and Melvin had assisted him so much!!! All the men went forward and we prayed for Melvin's son... At the same time, Melvin, his wife and his other son prayed. The moment they finished, the surgeon came out with a big smile on her face - his son was NOT paralyzed, and she could not explain what had happened... WE know what happened! God performed a miracle! Even better - after the accident, as Melvin's son became aware that he could not feel his body, he at long last accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior... Now that is what I call a perfect miracle! Praise God!

This is so wonderful to read this morning Spunky. Prayer does work as God hears them and works through them. It is most wonderful when we recieve a new brother or sister in Christ. May God truly bless this family. To Him be the glory and honor forever.
