The night is calm
Comfortingly warm
Breeze through trees
As a man stalks my path.
Aware of the follower
I forget my own route
And find my self in a darkened area
Silence around me.
The feel of some ones eyes upon me
Make the darkness tight
The heat once pleasurable now suffocates me
The noise from the breeze now startles me.
Cold pain from the back of my head, searing down my body
Turn to looks into the eyes of the man
His eyes wild with excitement of that in a childÆs
A smile dons his face.
I fall to the floor and scream from the pain
But no one hears
Such a peaceful night
People are enjoying it in their homes/
I feel the coldness of steel upon my throat
As he talks in to my ears things I cannot repeat
Scared to kick or move
I let my body fall limp
He thinks he has won and I have passed out
And drops the knife to the floor
As he drops me as well
I grab the knife
Slash at his legsà his turn to scream now
I drop the knife and turn to run
On the floor againà came down hard
His hand on my leg
I look behind me his face contorted
Eyes black with rage
His teeth bared in angerà
I doubt this man is human at this moment
No human could do this to a child.
Only a monster from a story
Where a great man will come to rescue the one in distress
And slay the evil beast.
He gets on top of me using his weight to hold me
Not falling for the limp trick this time
I feel the knife just cut into me on my backà
Payback he saysà Monster I think... but no happy ending.
Disgusted confused and scared
I knew I had to move, there was no great man to save me
I channelled all my energy to kick
Stunned at this he fell into the wallà hard
At this point I ran
Faster that ever before
Till I reached the park
Blood on my hands
Such a peace full night
As a girl kneels in the park crying silently
Blood on her handsà
And blood on his.
This event is forgotten in time, happy ending of course
Forgotten by every one around her
But the memory still lives on
Deep inside her.
