The pain immense at my sin's crucifixion, anguish in the bloody tears of my Savior. Beaten to a ravaged pulp all the way to death; mocked in His agony, the shame of His torment. A crown of thorns returned glory to my soul, and His last breath brought me to life. The nails in His hands hang my banner of freedom; His pierced feet, I kiss with the lips of my liberty. To look upon in shock, His broken, bloody body; a cleansing of my flesh, I alone can't overcome; forgiven by the violent death inflicted on this Man, perfectly flawless in the walk of His mortal life. Undeserving as I am, He loved me enough, to freely sever the union of the Trinity on my behalf. The first and only time, in all of eternity, this has occured. Such lonely darkness my King felt for love of me. Words simply cannot explain...what this means to my soul.

This is something that we should think about more. This is the whole meaning of the gospel. We all should thank God everyday that He loves us that much. Beautiful way of saying it.
