EZRA
(Ezra 7)
God's hand was upon Ezra;
God's good hand was upon him
Because he had set his heart
To study the law of the Lord
To practice it in his life
And to teach God's law to others.
Thus was he strengthened by God's hand.
May we so choose to set our hearts
To study and practice
And teach God's law to others
And have God strengthen us.
As a "preacher's kid" who attended Christian colleges, my life has been blessed by spiritual influence. Blessed, too, has been my family life with loving husband, children and grandchildren. An additional blessing has been my life's work, teaching English. How could I not write to praise God!
