I ran into several atheists who wanted to debate with me last night and ended up staying up all night long typing out my replies, so I thought I better save them!
So here I thought I'd make an archive of Bible 'contraditions'. I've refuted hundreds of these things, so I'll be adding to this more and more over time. One of the most favored attacks against Christianity are these supposive contradictions throughout the Bible. However with a closer look at the verses you can tell that they are usually the result of poor research or taking the verses out of their context. There really are no "contradictions" in the Bible. But sense there are so many of these, and sense there are so many non believers (and to my suprise even some 'believers') who don't realize the mistakes they are making, I thought it might be a neat idea to put together an archive right here on these forums. As you can tell from many of these ... they are just silly, and were obviously created by someone looking for a reason to deny the Bible. There are some non believers out there who are sincere in their quest for answers however, and it is mostly this audience that I personally hope to reach. You can copy and paste any of these into debates if you want to save time.
Also if you have any other "contradictions" that I havn't added yet that you would like to add, just post them in this thread (preferably in the format that I am posting mine) and I will edit the apropriate post to include a link to that contradiction. To make it easier to search for a particular verse, please don't post more than 10 contradictions per reply, but reply as much as you like. So if you're adding answers to a list of 100 contradictions for example, please make 10 replies with 10 explainations per reply, and also search through the verses already listed below to check and see if that one is already here.
Anywho, here we are. If you're ever looking for answers to a particular contradiction, you can search for it by clicking one of the chapters below that one of the verses is located in, and then browse to the verse in question if it is already here. (For example, if there is a verse in Exodus that seems to contradict a verse in Matthew, you can choose either Exodus or Matthew below and browse to the verse in question).
(I have absolutly no idea why it's randomly putting spaces in the middle of the chapter names when I make them links............)
